This show looks awesome. It's about a group of forgotten teen idols coming together and facing their demons. And guess what? One of the teen idols is in my vox neighborhood! Billy Hufsey of "Fame" fame. Remember hunky Eric from the first ever MTV Real World (I do)? Well time hasn't exactly been kind to him -- he's the one in white looking kind of like jesus. And David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff's Baywatch son's kind of a plastic surgery nightmare these days (he's on the far left). And you guessed it, they're all in the show. Can't wait to watch it. It's starting Jan. 4.

I finally figured out how to stream videos blocked outside of America, so I'll be watching.

My twin sister is coming today with her cat allergic boyfriend!

Their bedroom has been cleaned from top to bottom, and the door has been shut to keep the cats out.

My mother cooked a pumpkin pie and ginger cake, and made some Japanese dishes.

Should be fun. I hope my sister hasn't forgotten about bringing all my stuff up with her.

My aunt is insisting on taking me to the airport, but she has to set up her booth for a show the same day. So she expects me, my mother, and my uncle to all cram into the van with all her equipment stuffed into it, and I get rushed to the airport, and my mother loses a whole day of work hanging around helping my aunt with her work.

It just doesn't occur to my aunt that the world shouldn't bend over backwards for her convenience. She needs to learn that lesson some day. It's such an obvious lesson, it's just staring her right in the face, but she just doesn't see it.

I guess that's true for all of us. What's my lesson? I know it's staring me right in the face, but I just can't see it either.

We were watching the Deadliest Catch Thanksgiving marathon that was on tv the other day, and my aunt got really into it. She really likes Captain Sig (who doesn't?). On the phone today she said "I watched that thing again." I asked what exactly it was that she watched, and she said "Crab." She has decided to call the show "Crab."

I just might be done with my grad school applications. I'm going to re-print a few things, check it over one more time, and then send them off tomorrow.

It is my aunt and uncle's 27th wedding anniversary on Friday. 27 fricking years! I was two when they got married, and I remember the wedding. Me and my twin sister wore matching white lace dresses and in our heads we looked like princesses. In actuality we looked like stumpy little babies with brown bowl hair cuts. My aunt wore a wedding dress, and then a shimmering green kimono, and I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Wait, before I go, here's another good reality show. Celebrity Championship Wrestling. A bunch of celebrities (kind of sort of) learn how to pro wrestle. And you know what? They may be has-beens or never-wases, but they are entertainers. And when they get in the ring, they go for it.

Plus Hulk Hogan is just an old pro. The guy's in constant pain, walks like he's injured, and has a hangdog expression, but when he turns on the persona, it's 1985 again.

Dancing with the Stars is awesome

I love Dancing with the Stars.

That Warren guy that they ended with, he was just adorable! I love big cuddly guys. What a sweet, fun little dance!

I've only ever seen all these American tv shows on youtube, so it was great to see this on tv. Even if it was my little sister's tiny little tv set.

It made my twin sister's wonderful boyfriend kind of uncomfortable though. He couldn't wait to get away.

Would you ever consider having your life taped for a reality show?
No! My life's boring and there's nothing to see.
I would consider being a contestant on a reality show though. Like one of those over-the-top ones on vh1. Where you have to drop the sponsor's name every three seconds and talk about how awesome you think the stupid "prize" is. I'm serious! I'd go on one tomorrow if I could. I'd have to get my teeth bleached and hit the gym for a few weeks first, so I can look FIERCE while I lose my dignity!
I'm actually not joking. I really love reality tv.
On a side note, this documentary looks cool. It's about a photographer who took pictures of naked people in Las Vegas for his book "Naked Las Vegas," seemingly having a nervous breakdown in the process. Couldn't embed the trailer but the book is below.

Denise Richards: It's Complicated.

I love the relationship she has with her dad, who lives with her and her two daughters. I want to see more tv shows about grown girls living with their daddies.

But! If you're allergic to cheese and scripted reality tv, it aint for you.

dad dating, host clubs, vh1

My dad just came back from another date again. This lady seemed nice. I think he met her through some jewish dating website, at least that's what my twin sister says. I think that's kind of sweet.

My dad can be really cute. I went into the kitchen yesterday and he had his laptop on the counter and he was watching a youtube clip of a lady making hummus. He then proceeded to make hummus, and it was actually really good.

I didn't know that I couldn't use the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. In fact, one of the best things about America is the garbage disposal. Anyway I clogged up the drain. It wasn't really what my dad wanted to see when he came home from his date just now. He was kind of nice about it. "Somebody clogged up the drain," he said, when obviously that "somebody" could only be me. Then he started swearing and throwing paper towels, so I told him to do it in the morning when he wasn't tired (notice I didn't offer to do it myself...).

Ayana is my twin sister's roommate. She's a hostess here in LA. I just had my mind blown because my sister told me that Ayana goes to some Host clubs around K-Town I think. Hosts are men who are paid to be with women, btw. She said the hosts are all Korean though, and a lot of the times can't really speak anything other than Korean. They must be pretty stupid if they can't even speak Japanese.

I'm really fucking excited about the fact that I'm not blocked from vh1 anymore cuz I'm actually IN America. It was a dark day when they suddenly started blocking people outside of America. Trashy reality shows, here I come! How awesome does "I Love Money" sound? All the freakiest peeps from the past shows are all in one show. You can't go WRONG!
