What do you see yourself doing on this day next year?

I will be a few months into my master's degree at a good university, they've given me lots of good scholarships, and my professors and classmates will be inspiring and wonderful. And I'll be getting ready to visit family for the holidays.

Found this old photo. My twin sister (in blue) and I (in red) wearing our yukata at a summer festival around 2002 I think. It's a picture of a picture, so it's kind of blurry.

You both look really pretty! I know I should be used to it, but whenever I see a pic of you and your twin sis together it trips me out a little!

I know, I get freaked out when I see pictures of people I know who are twins too. And you'd think I would be used to it, being a twin myself. It's just weird. Twins are weird and unnatural in my point of view.

Maybe whether we look asian or not depends on the lighting and how we're feeling, haha. And maybe we look pretty because it's blurry!

I thought you might say that! But, as Jack Kerouac said: " A 'Western Haiku' need not concern itself with the seventeen syllables since Western languages cannot adapt themselves to the fluid syllabillic Japanese. I propose that the 'Western Haiku' say a lot in three short lines in any Western language."
