I'm home, home home. Home where everything works and people aren't lazy and you don't have to check everything to make sure you haven't been short-changed/given the wrong order/accidentally put on a wanted list.
I hadn't paid my phone bill so my phone's not working. Oops. I'll sort that out tomorrow. I guess I'd better do that first thing. Otherwise I won't be getting any work, and then I won't be getting any money, and then what will I do????????

Read another book on the flight.
"Bringing Down the House." Which has been made into a movie called
"21." It was a really good book. Almost all the main characters were Asian or mixed race, which to me totally kicks ass because I hardly ever get to see myself in books or movies. But on the other hand it totally blows because they seem to have cast the movie with white people. Or mostly white people anyway. The main character is a mixture of Irish, Cuban and Hong Kong Chinese (I think), but
he looks pretty Asian American. His film counterpart
definitely doesn't. WTF!? Come on Hollywood! There are squillions of asians and mixed race peeps all over LA, how about casting a few of them?

The story must be good since now I've gotten two mentions of it within a couple days.
